Another Crochet Lover...

I Red heart crochet.... though I am just a beginner but all the tempting patterns available on internet make me learn more day by day...

The first time I made crochet booties in 7th grade… as our home economics project. But that’s it, never touched it again. 2 Months back after seeing some really nice crochet patterns on internet I bought all the material and started it again... though I remembered nothing.... but youtube helped me alot..... I learnt all the abbreviations, stitches, advanced stitches, everything from youtube.

I am very easily distracted...

Ok so coming back to the point, I made this really cute crochet bunny hat using this pattern from Girl in air. It came out nice... as per my first trail... BUT I couldn’t get the right pictures... my little one was so not ready to wear it…. Sick smile

After 1 hour of struggle this is what I got...

Earns of my cap were a little smaller than this one but otherwise it came out exactly the same…

Last friday after having dinner at our relatives place, we were coming back home at 11pm when I saw GLOBAL VILLAGE.... on its bloom... though it was quite late to enter Global village and we all were too tired but I couldnt resist... & finally (after alot of STRUGGLE:) hubs agreed for a quick trip for MASALA TEA (going to global village for tea... what an excuse... heheheee)

Global village is a festival held in dubai starting in the last months of every year.  A huge area is dedicated for this festival. There are 27 pavillions in Global village from different countries including Pakistan, India, Iran, Africa, Jordan, Egypt etc. And each pavillion offers, varity of stuff for shoping, cultural shows etc...  you can check their website for details.

How to - - - upload Blog spot background.

Few days back I was so bored with the old look of my blog that I planned to give it a new look…
I had two options,
1. Either to make my own background and upload it
2. Or to get a free blogger background available online.

And Obviously I took the Second easier option….. I selected background from an online free web page and installed it in my blogger.

These are few resources for really good blogger backgrounds. Some one them also have matching buttons available.

http://thatblogplace.com/store/Default.asp
http://aquapoppydesigns2.blogspot.com/
http://myblogmakeover.blogspot.com/
http://www.backgroundfairy.com/
http://slsfreeblogbackgrounds.blogspot.com/

So I Followed these simple steps for installing new background.

STEP 1

Choose DESIGN option from your dashboard

STEP 2
Select EDIT HTML

STEP 3
& then select SELECT LAYOUT TEMPLATE

STEP 4
Choose MINIMA

STEP 5
SAVE TEMPLATE and go to PAGE ELEMENTS from DESIGN options

STEP 6
Now ADD A GADGET

STEP 7
Add HTML

STEP 8
Add code of the background you selected. Save and done.

It is simple isnt it?

Deciding background took me alot of time (I am toooo indecisive, i know) but uploading hardly took 5 to 10 minnutes.

In next post ill show you how I designed my blog buttons.

Let me know if you have anything in mind...
